The LG 27″ (27GP850) is offered as a 27‑inch QHD (2560 × 1440) IPS (Nano IPS) gaming monitor. Additionally, a 165Hz refresh rate is supported, which can be overclocked to 180Hz. A fast 1ms (GtG at Faster) response time is provided to ensure crisp motion during fast action. Moreover, 98% DCI‑P3 color coverage and HDR10 support are included for vibrant, accurate visuals.
Viewing angles of 178° are enabled by the IPS panel to maintain consistency across wide perspectives. Furthermore, 400 nits typical brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio are offered for balanced luminance. Dynamic refresh is supported via AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G‑SYNC compatibility to reduce tearing. Features such as Black Stabilizer, Crosshair, Dynamic Action Sync, and Flicker Safe are also provided.
Connectivity options such as two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and USB 3.0 upstream/downstream are provided. Additionally, the stand supports tilt, height, and pivot adjustments for ergonomic customization. VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting is supported for wall or arm installations. Power consumption is rated around 48W typical, and less than 0.5W in sleep mode.
Although built‑in speakers are not included, external audio devices can be used. It is advised to use a DisplayPort 1.4 cable to fully enable 180Hz overclocking. Overall, the LG 27″ (27GP850) is suited for gamers seeking high refresh performance, color fidelity, and versatility. This UltraGear model is designed to balance speed, accuracy, and ergonomic flexibility in one package.
